The Board of Selectmen normally meet on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Tuesday of each month and on other dates as needed. Board members are Robert I. Buker, Russell S. Galpin and Lou Ann Rousseau. The public is welcome to attend the Board's meetings. If you have a specific topic you wish to discuss with the Selectmen it is suggested that you contact the Town Office for an appointment to help facilitate a smooth meeting schedule.

This department represents the selectmen on a daily basis and oversees various functions including assessing, payroll, budgeting, health, welfare other functions.

The Hillsborough Police Department is located at 22 Municipal Drive (formerly Dump Road) and also provides emergency dispatching for 7 area towns.

The Hillsborough Fire Department is located at 15 Central Street and also provides emergency medial services and transport through Hillsboro Rescue.
|
|
The Hillsborough Highway Department provides for the maintenace of all municipal roads and sidewalks.
|
|
The Town of Hillsborough operates a transfer station and recycling center for the Towns of Hillsborough, Deering and Windsor.

|
The Planning Department provides technical support to the Town's land use boards, selectmen and applicants for building permits, site review and other related items.

The Water and Sewer operations are oveseen by a board of three commissioners and provide for water and sewer services.
|
|
This department provides for court diversion programs, big brothers & big sisters and general assistance for the youth of Hillsborough and Deering.

The Fuller Public Library is located at 29 School Street and has a wide variety of programs from adult literacy, children's programs and book discussion groups.

The Hillsborough Recreation Department operates three parks, Grimes Field which has various athletic fields, Manahan Park which has picnicing, swimming and boating and Beard Brook Park which has swimming and fishing.

Located in the basement of 27 School Street, adjacent to the Selectmen's Office, this office also provides for state motor vehicle registration.
