Public Hearing Relative to the Issuance of Refunding Bonds

The Hillsborough Board of Selectmen will conduct a budget hearing in accordance with RSA 33:3-d for the purpose of considering the issuance of Refunding Bonds to pay off two loans issued by the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development for sewer facility construction. These loans were issued in 1985 and 1987 and together have a principal balance due of about $817,968. This hearing is to consider the issuance of Refunding Bonds at a lower interest rate to reduce interest charges.
Any person requiring special accommodations should notify the Hillsborough Town Office by 5:00 p.m. on October 12.
