BUILDING DEMOLITION AND MATERIALS RELOCATION
FORMER WOODS WOOLEN MILL SITE
The Town of Hillsborough, NH is requesting qualifications and cost proposals from qualified contractors for the first phase of interim cleanup at the former Woods Woolen Mill Site, an abandoned 19th Century textile mill.
The first phase of interim cleanup will consist of the demolition and on-site relocation and burial of lead-based paint and asbestos-contaminated building materials associated with the mill foundation, Warehouse Building #2 and the Warehouse Building #3 debris pile.
Copies of the bid package are available at the Selectmen’s Office at 29 School Street, Hillsborough, NH, by contacting Matthew Taylor, Town Planner at 603-464-5378, ext 227 or by clicking on the link below. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held in the Police Department Training Room at 22 Municipal Drive, Hillsborough, NH on Friday, February 20, 2009 at 10:00 AM. The meeting will be immediately followed by a mandatory site walk. Proposals must be delivered to the Selectmen’s office by 3:00 PM on Friday, March 13, 2009.
