Voter Registration

Anyone who is a resident of Hillsborough is able to register to vote at the Town Clerk’s office during normal operating hours.  If this is not convenient, the Supervisors of the Checklist hold hours in the evening and Saturday at specific times throughout the year.  These Supervisor sessions will be advertised in the local paper and appear on the Town’s website.

In order to register to vote in the State of New Hampshire, the following items are necessary:

1.  A photo ID (license or other government issued ID)

2.  Documentation of age

3.  Proof of citizenship (passport, birth certificate, naturalization papers)

4.  Proof of residence in the Town of Hillsborough (NH license with current address, NO PO Boxes; utility bill, tax bill, lease agreement, auto registration)

If you do not have all of these items with you, you with not be able to register until you can provide all of them.
